Do you have a 3rd-12th grader interested in training to improve their speed, strength and flexibility? Does your child need to learn more about how to eat healthy? If so this is an opportunity for them! These 50-minute classes focus on total body strength training, injury prevention, how to safely and correctly lift weights for various levels of development, speed training and nutrition education.
We train athletes for long-term athletic development. We teach our athletes how to lift weights correctly based on their age and level of development. We focus our training on "movements" not "muscle groups". Performance testing will be tracked over the long-term for each participant: Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, 10 and 15 yd Sprint Times, Upper Body Strength and Lower Body Strength.
Have you ever wondered "My kid plays three sports, what should I train for and how often when two sports overlap? or what should my kid do in between sport seasons when there are no practices for three weeks?" We will provide periodized training programs and recovery methods on how to take care of your athlete's body in between games, practices and seasons as this is very important in the development of your athlete and for overall injury prevention. Overall healthy nutrition habits will be presented to all athletes including proper hydration, importance of eating breakfast and eating from all food groups and more!
